# POV: Your first time in a fancy cafe — The AI Trend Explained
“POV: Your first time in a fancy cafe” starts with a small wall table mistaken for a seat. A companion arrives, sits on the low ledge and puts a coffee on the table. The first person notices and changes seats.

## Why is the cafe scene funny?
The original cafe comedy video was created by Kevin Winnik (@kevinwinnik) and posted on Instagram. It shows an unfamiliar cafe table being mistaken for a seat. The arriving companion uses the furniture correctly, revealing the first person’s mistake.
The reaction matters as much as the setup. The first person notices where the companion sits, then changes position. That small correction gives the scene its ending.
Watch the companion’s eyes after the coffee is placed on the table. The sideways look toward the person on the left makes the awkward pause readable. The restrained mouth and small head movement let the audience notice the mistake before anyone explains it. The final move to the ledge completes the joke.
## What does “fancy cafe AI” mean?
People use “fancy cafe AI,” “fancy cafe template” and “first time in a fancy cafe” to refer to versions and tutorials for this scene. The terms help identify the wall-table seat mix-up, rather than a general cafe portrait.
## How personal photos fit the scene
The FancyCafe AI creator has two photo roles: the person already seated and the companion who enters. Choosing familiar faces can turn the scene into a joke for a friend or group chat.
Add a photo to Left person, Right person or both to create the full 21-second cafe scene. One video costs $9.99, three cost $19.99 (33% off), and five cost $29.99 (40% off). Packs create one video now; the rest stay in your account for later photo changes.
For your own version, choose who makes the confident seating mistake and who gives the sideways reaction. A familiar friend in either role can make the pause funny to your group chat. Keep the original look and change of seat visible so the joke still works when the faces change.
## Who created the original, and where are the AI versions?

Compare the wall table, the arriving coffee and the eventual change of seat: those recognizable actions connect a new cast to “POV: Your first time in a fancy cafe”.
